Charity Insights Seminar Glasgow

30 August 2018 09:00 am

The Lighthouse, 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow G1 3NU

With the threat from cybercrime increasing, it is vital that all organisations – including charities – understand the potential impact of a cyber attack and take proactive steps to reduce the risk of becoming a victim.

With charities being more exposed to cyber threats than private businesses, and two in ten charities having had cyber security breaches or attacks in the last 12 months, our annual charity insights event will focus on the increasingly important topic of cybercrime.

Our own cyber security specialists will be joined by guest speakers from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to talk us through what can sometimes seem a very daunting topic. We will explore the results from a recent NCSC study on the cyber threat to charities and provide practical advice on how you can manage this.

Beyond cyber security we will also discuss fraud and governance as well as an update on Making Tax Digital.
