Red House Home Trust

The Red House Home Trust was constituted in 1931 when its principal objective was to provide a home for children.

With the closure of the Home the Trust Deed has been revised and the remaining funds invested, the income of which is used to pay out grants.

Red House Home Trust’s objectives are to promote education and training of young persons under the age of 22 who are in need of care, are living in deprived circumstances or otherwise require assistance in adjusting to independent living. In practice, grants are made to individuals and groups for the education and training of young persons under the age of 22 residing in East Lothian.
